MBJ Therapy is a growing contract rehabilitation company looking to expand with positions available for full-time & part-time Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, & Speech Therapist. Education:
• Requires a current CA professional license and current driver's license.
Accountability:
• The Staff Physical Therapist is directly accountable to the Director of Physical Therapy and indirectly to the referring physician.
Physical Requirements:
• The Staff Physical Therapist should be in good physical condition including but not limited to the ability to pull, push, lift, and stoop as the situation may require. The Therapists visual acuity must be such that he/she is able to perceive reactions to treatments, tests, and measurements. He/She must be able to read instruments accurately.
Requirements
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
• Evaluates and treats patients with a physical impairment due to injury, disease, or surgery in a home care environment.
• Gathers background data, reviews referrals, selects and modifies evaluation tools, and evaluates patients determining the level of patient’s physical and psychosocial functioning.
• Responsible for planning, evaluation, and treatment implementation of assigned caseload.
• Providing initial and ongoing assessment to determine level of functioning.
• Preparing clinical progress notes.
• Educate patients and/or families about proper safe use and recommend methods for installation of adaptive equipme
