• ProStep Rehab is division of Extendicare. Founded in 1968 we have 150+ buildings & clinics in 13 states (and in Canada). We have the capacity to serve over 28,000 residents, with our corporate headquarters locally in Milwaukee
• Our division, ProStep Rehab has 2,500+ employees nationwide
• Most common settings: Post Acute Rehab, ALF, TCU, & outpatient clinics
• For our inpatient rehab sites, our average length of stay is less than 30 days.
• Most common case loads: Adults with Neurological and Orthopedic issues, medically complex patients, post surgical patients …
o For SLPs: cognitive and language, with some swallowing disorders

Most of our settings are large post-acute (transitional care) sites – some with wellness units, attached outpatient units and ALFs. Our focus is on increasing their functional levels and returning the patients home (“rehab to home”). In certain areas, we also have free standing outpatient ortho clinics.
