River’s Edge Hospital and Clinic (REHC) is a city owned, 17-bed Critical Access Hospital that is governed by a 7-member appointed Board. REHC has delivered over seventy years of quality care including family medicine, pediatrics, emergency medicine and much more to the residents of St. Peter and the surrounding communities. REHC has been nationally recognized as a progressive leader in quality and patient safety initiatives and has been designated as a mentor hospital by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. In 2009, REHC was recognized by Larson Allen LLP, one of the top 25 financial advisory firms in the nation, as a Gold Standard Performing Critical Access Hospital. In 2011, REHC was recognized as one of the Top 100 Hospitals in the nation for Patient Care Experience by WomenCertified®. In 2012, REHC earned a Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA) Patient Safety Excellence Awarded for it’s work preventing retained objects in the operating room. In 2012, REHC won the UCare Excellence in Health Care Award for Medicaid Overall Performance Quality of Care.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Physical Medicine Manager coordinates activities of Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy program designed to treat disabled, injured or diseased patients; or to prevent disability. Incorporate the mission and vision of the organization into the function of the department.

THE COMMUNITY

The City of Saint Peter (population 11,400) was incorporated in 1873 and is located in the beautiful Minnesota River valley. Saint Peter is the county seat of Nicollet County and the second largest city in the County. We are located 10 miles from the Mankato-North Mankato regional center and 65 miles from the St. Paul/Minneapolis metro area. State Highways 99, 169, and 22 all intersect in Saint Peter making our community a hub for other destinations in the state.
