Company History
Our Story
AdvantageCare Rehabilitation was founded in 2003 by Amy Hancock, inspired by her grandparents’ personal need for specialized nursing and therapy services. Through that experience, Amy saw a gap in care for patients transitioning from hospitals to skilled nursing and assisted living — and she set out to build something better.
In 2006, that vision expanded with the launch of Advantage Home Health and Hospice Services, bringing high-quality nursing and therapy directly into patients’ homes. This patient-centered model was designed to ensure seniors could receive continuous, coordinated care throughout their entire healthcare journey.
Where We Are Today
What started as a one-person mission has grown into a team of more than 880 dedicated professionals serving communities across Pennsylvania. For over 23 years, Advantage has been proud to support residents, families, and healthcare partners with innovative rehab solutions, strong clinical leadership, and a culture that truly puts people first.
