Company Overview
Backway's Physical Therapy, PLLC, provides Physical Therapy and Speech Therapy services in an outpatient setting, located in beautiful downtown Prescott, AZ, a historic mountain community with abundant outdoor and cultural activities.
The company was founded in 2003 with the goal of allowing competent Physical Therapists to work together as a group to provide the best therapy possible for our clients.
We have a calm, pleasant clinic where therapists treat their patients one-on-one and share the costs of running the clinic. This is a Group Practice model, where each therapist is their own employee working within the Group as an Independent Contractor.
Our therapists choose to treat clients themselves, without the use of techs or aides, and are free to schedule one patient per hour, or whatever time frame the practitioner believes is needed for each of their patients.
There are no quotas or pressures to see a maximum number of clients each day.
Our Speech Therapist and 8 Physical Therapists use standard, progressive and integrative medicine techniques to treat both simple and complex patient populations. Our therapists have many years of experience and use a variety of manual and therapeutic exercise techniques, including Maitland, McKenzie, Meeks, MFR, Structural Integration, Feldenkrais, Trager, and several Osteopathy-based and Yoga-based techniques.
Billing is done in-house by our well-trained office administrative staff.
Compensation is usually paid to our therapists as 1099 income, and equals 65%-75% of the income generated from your services, with the remaining percentage going to overhead (running the business, doing the billing, paying office staff, rent, insurances, maintenance, etc). Note: you would be responsible for paying for your own benefits as a self-employed practitioner.

Company History
Founded in 2003 with only 2 PT's, Backway's PT slowly grew over the next few years to its present size.
In 2004, we moved into our own building, which was designed to accommodate a more private therapy atmosphere. Most therapy is done in each practitioner's room, with a small gym and a large movement room available when the need for specific equipment or movement testing is required.
The practice treats both simple outpatient orthopedic and speech therapy clients, and more complex patients. We have become known in our area as a place to go when other therapies have failed, as well as a first resort for discerning clientele.
Benefits
As Independent Contractors, our therapists get to keep 65%-75% of the money generated by the services they provide.
They choose how many clients they see per day, what hours days they work, and how much time they take off for holidays and continuing education.
Practitioners are encouraged to take care of themselves, both physically and mentally, and to attend continuing education offerings that they find inspirational and interesting.
