Our Mission
For over 90 years, the mission of the Chelsea Jewish Foundation has been to provide high-quality, compassionate care echoed by the values of our founder, Mrs. Eleanor "Lena" Goldberg, of Chelsea. Guided by her philosophy of care and coupled with a non-profit dedication to those we serve, the Foundation focuses first on the health and well-being of clients and families instead of corporate profits. In doing so, the Chelsea Jewish Foundation and its affiliates continually invest in advancing the standard of healthcare- revitalizing traditional models of care with the latest technologies and services to better serve and care for our clients.
In its pursuit of excellent healthcare for all the Foundation continues to grow in size, scope, and service offerings. Our collection of skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and community-based agencies offer an unsurpassed continuum of care for individuals requiring light to intensive care. Whether our clients or residents require minor assistance to remain independent at home, require intensive skilled nursing due to chronic health issues, or require a specialized, technically advanced residence, the Chelsea Jewish Foundation’s longstanding reputation as an organization with experience, expertise, and excellence ensures all our clients and residents will receive the best possible care.
