As a charitable organization, Concord Hospital's mission is to meet the healthcare needs of individuals within the communities we serve. Concord Hospital has five Centers of Excellence, including the Center for Cardiac Care, Center for Urologic Care, Payson Center for Cancer Care, the Orthopaedic Institute, and Women's Health Services. There are 295 licensed beds and there were 20,429 total admissions in fiscal year 2017.
Concord Hospital Rehabilitation Services is a progressive, cutting edge hospital-based practice with over 50 physical therapists on staff. Concord Hospital's inpatient team provides care throughout every unit and department in the hospital.
The organization provided care to approximately 9,000 patients at one of eight outpatient Rehabilitation Services' locations last year. The majority of the caseload consists of patients with orthopedic related diagnoses with the balance of the population involving a wide variety of sub-specialty care including orthopedic injuries or conditions, sports related injuries, trauma, work related injuries, neurological conditions, arthritis, fibromyalgia, lymphedema, vertigo/dizziness, women’s health and pregnancy related conditions, pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, and aquatic therapy.
The Concord Hospital Rehabilitation Services department is a strong proponent of continuing education and supports an internal staff development and mentorship program. The department also sponsors both national and international experts to provide educational opportunities to the staff.
Company History
Concord Hospital was founded in 1884, opened on December 15, 1891, and serves the following New Hampshire communities; Allenstown, Andover, Barnstead, Boscawen, Bow, Bradford, Canterbury, Center Barnstead, Chichester, Concord, Deering, Dunbarton, Epsom, Henniker, Hillsborough, Hooksett, Hopkinton, Loudon, Northwood, Pembroke, Penacook, Pittsfield, Salisbury, Suncook, Warner, Washington, Weare, Webster and Windsor.
Concord Hospital Medical Group, founded in 2006, is comprised of 292 clinical providers including 121 specialty providers and 171 primary care providers.
Together, Concord Hospital and Concord Hospital Medical Group are coordinating efforts to improve the patient experience as well as individual health.
