Company History
Owners of Dutch Physical Therapy, Philippe Veeters and Mirjam Maassen, began their story in the Netherlands where they were born, raised, and educated. Hence the name, “Dutch” Physical Therapy. Philippe and Mirjam specifically chose to move to Louisiana because of the Cajun culture, food, wide range of availability in sports and warm weather. Dutch Physical Therapy opened the first office in 1994 and since then we have grown to three locations, which are located in Baton Rouge and Denham Springs. Our philosophy at Dutch PT is to empower and educate our patients through manual therapy, reducing or eliminating pain, improving strength, mobility, and postural education.
