FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers-Glendale was founded in 1989 as Plaza Verdugo Fitness and Rehab, Inc. in 1989 by Jane Mead, PT, MS. Jane received her BS in Kinesiology from UCLA and her Master's in Physical Therapy from USC. She is currently on track to receive her transitional DPT from the University of Michigan-Flint in April 2019.

Our clinic is 100% PT-owned and has been recently remodeled in 2015 and 2018 to expand our services to include Solo-step ceiling rails, Bertec Balance Systems, Light Force Class IV Laser Therapy, Hypervibe Whole Body Vibration and Footmaxx Orthotics in addition to the full complement of Pilates equipment and private treatment spaces. Our location is in the beautiful Foothill communities of La Canada Flintridge, La Crescenta, Glendale, Montrose and Pasadena. We are a boutique office that has a unique relationship to our small community, but clients also come to us from Orange County, Riverside, West LA and Santa Clarita. We have not marketed in 30 years...all of our clients have been word-of-mouth!
