Halat Physical Therapy, Inc. is a physical therapist-owned and operated private practice doing business as Physical Therapy Associates of Manheim, Myerstown, and Hershey.
Company History
Maureen Halat began her private physical therapy practice on Main Street in Manheim in 1995. In 1998, she incorporated as Halat Physical Therapy Inc. The business was renamed Physical Therapy Associates of Manheim and Maureen Rudy, PT had joined her team.
In 2003 Maureen Halat moved the business to 107 West End Drive in Penn Township to better service and accommodate an increasing patient load. Shortly afterthis time Michael Tempalski, MPT joined the professional staff of Physical Therapy Associates of Manheim.
We began providing the Certified Athletic Training Services to Manheim Central School District in 2005.
Michael became a partner with Maureen Halat in 2007. Later that year they expanded the practice and Physical Therapy Associates of Myerstown opened at 11 East Lincoln in the Northside Shopping Center, with Mike as Clinical Director and primary physical therapist.
Maureen Rudy PT became a partner in 2008. She was the Clinical Director of Physical Therapy at Lebanon Internal Medicine Associates for 2 years. In August, 2010 she became the Clinical Director and primary physical therapist at Physical Therapy Associates of Hershey at 308 Hockersville Rd, Hershey, PA.
Over these years, Physical Therapy Associates has been blessed to enjoyed the support of both the Manheim and Myerstown communities and surrounding areas. We look forward to the same relationship in Hershey! Involvement in the community is a priority for the staff who routinely donate their time, expertise and resources to charitable events, such as the Lancaster MS Walk and American Cancer Society Relay for Life events. Members of our staff also participate in Levi’s Run which benefits those who suffer with Muscular Dystrophy
Physical Therapy Associates is also a supporter and contributor to the Leukemia Society.
