Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Salida, CO. The hospital serves visitors to and the residents of the Upper Arkansas Valley, which includes Salida, Buena Vista, Villa Grove, Saguache, Granite, Howard and surrounding communities. Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is proud to offer exceptional care and a full range of services to the community and its visitors. Our full-time physicians provide everything from complete family care to general and specialty surgery who provide convenient service to our residents and consultations to our local physicians.

The Colorado mountain town of Salida sits in the middle of the state, literally in the "Heart of the Rockies," about 2 hours from Colorado Springs and 3 hours from Denver.
