Company Overview
Kitsap Physical Therapy is PT owned group practice with locations throughout Kitsap County (across Puget Sound from Seattle). Presently, we have 7 locations, 14 partners, about 30 total PT's and 14 PTA's, and we also operate 2 full service fitness centers. We are primarily an orthpedic focused practice, but most of our PT's also have a sub-specialty that they offer to help broaden our base of services.
Company History
KPT was started in January 1979 by Mike Danford, PT and Barb Ellis-Danford, PT offering orthopedic and pediatric services. Our mission was to create an environment for accellerated skill development and then to offer programs providing effectiveness above the typical standard of care as well as excellent customer service. We have grown steadily and have diversified our services to offer a variety of "specialized" PT services as well as locations spread throughout our county. We have also evolved into a group practice that has partnership opportunities for motivated PT's able to make the extra commitment of being an owner.
Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
We are one of the longest continually operating private practices in WA state and we are one of the biggest opportunities for PT's to become a partner in a successfully run, profitable practice. We are the largest provider of PT in Kitsap County and we offer the largest spectrum of PT services. We are a "Partner" in our state PT association, a member of Northwest Rehab Alliance, and our management has always been a member of the state and national PT associations and national PPS.
