Physical therapists pursue their passion in an open learning environment with mentorship being a cornerstone of the practice. Company History
Sandra Stryker founded Life's Work Physical Therapy in 2001 with a dream of creating a Center of Excellence. Through her fellowship training with the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy, she's integrated an orthopedic manual therapy mentorship program into LWPT. Professional development opportunities are abundant at LWPT and continue to be a cornerstone of our mission and vision.
We've consistently grown over the years and continue to add clinical programs like Women's Health to our service offerings. Despite our desire to grow, we stay true to our mission.
Every day, we work toward our mission of returning patients to a normal active life with no pain. Our mission guides our practice and drives how we work every day.
Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
Life's Work Physical Therapy is recognized as a national expert in orthopedic manual physical therapy. LWPT has published multiple research articles, spoken at numerous industry events and is best known for solving complex patient cases. Life's Work is well known for its biopsychosocial model and its ground breaking clinical outcomes with highly complex patients. LWPT sponsors an on-site mentorship training program and offers comprehensive support on professional development. We recently provided the Keynote Address for the Oregon Health Sciences University Annual PT Symposium as well as many regional and national health care events.
