Movement Systems Physical Therapy is located in Seattle on Eastlake Avenue. This clinic is devoted to diagnosis and treatment of movement system impairment syndromes (MSI) using principles developed by Shirley Sahrmann, PT, PhD, FAPTA. . We spend one hour, one to one with our patients with a strong focus on prescriptive therapeutic exercise, movement and posture education and self management. Our skilled physical therapists utilize manual therapy as an integrated intervention with exercise and movement to promote a lifestyle of health, wellness, and fitness for all our patients. Carrie Hall, PT, MHS, President has devoted her career to promoting the prescriptive nature of therapeutic exercise based upon 28 years of clinical experience, sound principles of anatomy and kinesiology, and evidence based research. She is joined by colleagues that are highly engaged, skilled, and knowledgeable in their own specialties as well as in the MSI approach. In addition, MSPT is fortunate to be staffed by a highly engaged Administrative staff that promotes a work environment blending professional autonomy and teamwork among all practitioners and administrative staff.
Company History
Movement Systems Physical Therapy was founded in 1993 by Carrie Hall, PT, MHS. The company currently provides a supportive environment for each practitioner to build a caseload with the mission to provide physical therapy services for all age groups, fitness levels, and orthopedic as well as neurological outpatients. We promote the notion that the physical therapist creates a long duration relationship with his/her patients and builds a caseload similar to a primary care physician. We are the "go to" practitioner for the musculoskeletal system, working in conjunction with the patients PCP and any other specialists involived in his/her care. Our mission is to assist our patients to manage their conditions and leave MSPT "forever better."
Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
Carrie Hall, PT, MHS is author of "Therapeutic Exercise: Moving Toward Function" 3e and is instructor of continuing education on diagnosis and treatment of movement impairment syndromes as well as teaching on many notable faculties over the past 27 years.
