OUR HOSPITAL…At North Arkansas Regional Medical Center, we are proud to be a vibrant part of Harrison. We are a non-profit, independent provider of extraordinary patient care. With our beautiful hospital, 48 physicians, 700 plus employees, and 198 Auxiliary/ Volunteers, we serve a five county population of 95,000. We are growing and flourishing even in the most demanding of times, with admissions up 6%, births up 7%, ER visits up 5%, all surgeries up 6%, and general surgery up 7%. Hospital Services include paramedic and EMT staffed ambulances (for 4 counties),athletic training, cardiac rehabilitation, critical care, dental staff, emergency medicine, family medicine, general surgery, GI, home health, hospice, internal medicine, nuclear medicine, occupational therapy, obstetrics/ gynecology, oncology/ hematology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, pediatrics, physical therapy, radiology, respiratory therapy, rural medicine with three outlying health clinics, seniors programs, sleep labs, sonography, urgent care, wellness, wound care, and many others. We have world class equipment, including a 64-slice CT, a 1.5 open MRI, and Digital Mammography. North Arkansas Regional has won multiple awards for excellence with ambulance care, joint replacement orthopedics, and marketing. We are expanding our service line to include behavioral health. We have 174 licensed beds, a 10 bed ER, 8 surgery rooms, and a 2 room GI lab. Our most important asset, of course, is our dedicated employee, auxiliary/ volunteer, and physician team.
