The hospital provides physicians and patients with many of the latest technological innovations for diagnosis and treatment of even the most acute clinical conditions. Northern Nevada Medical Center is accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC) and licensed by the state of Nevada.
Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
Northern Nevada Medical Center is the only hospital in northern Nevada to receive The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™ in: Orthopedics: Knee Replacement, Orthopedics: Hip Replacement and Spine Surgery. NNMC is also certified by The Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center and is an Accredited Chest Pain Center by the Society for Chest Pain Centers.
Northern Nevada Medical Center is a top performer... again! For the second year in a row, The Joint Commission has recognized our performance on key measures. This year, we created better outcomes for patients in the areas such as heart attacks, heart failure, pneumonia and surgical care.
