Company Overview
Northland Rural Therapy Associates provides OT, SPT and PT services for children in and around Flagstaff Arizona. Our mission is " to provide quality physical, occupational, speech and music therapy that is innovative and practical to individuals with special needs in home, school, clinic and community settings."
We contract with over 30 schools to provide services around Flagstaff,on the Hopi, Havasupai and Navajo Indian Reservations and in surrounding communities. We contract with the state to provide services for the early intervention program and for individuals with disabilities .

Most of our therapists have a mixed case load of school, home based clients and clients seen in the clinic and community (swimming, climbing, gymnastics, etc). Our therapists have an average of 6.6 years experience and many stay with NRTA for years.
Company History
Northland Rural Therapy Associates LLC (NRTA) formerly operated as two agencies, Northland Speech and Hearing, providing speech and language services and Rural Therapy Associates, providing occupational and physical therapy services. Both agencies had been in business for 10 + years. These two companies merged in 2004 under the leadership of Maureen Russell OTR, former director of Rural Therapy Associates. In 2011 the leadership is being transferred to Tom Cosner PT an employee of Maureen's for over 11 years. Maureen will continue to work for NRTA as a consultant and OT for at least the next 2 years.

Benefits
Salary range is $29- $40 an hour depending on experience and degree. Therapists are paid the same rate for treatment, paperwork, and driving time. Company car is available. Therapists are paid mileage at the government rate if they use their own car (currently $.50 a mile). We do have optional dental and disablity plans available.
