Company Overview
At RPI, we know there is a difference between where healthcare is and where it should be, and our goal is to change healthcare one individual at a time. We do that by setting up our therapists to succeed with one-on-one care without any overlap so that focus is on the client's needs and concerns. This is how we build healthier and happier communities together.
Company History
In 2016, we were established as a therapist?owned company under the name of Rehabilitation &
Performance Institute, PSC (RPI) by Craig Phifer and Shelly Tyler. In May 2016, our first location was
opened in Owensboro, Kentucky as a multi?disciplinary clinic with both physical therapy and chiropractic
care. In 2016, we opened 3 additional clinics for physical therapy only: Hancock County, KY, Albion, IL,
and Mt. Vernon, IN, and we have continued to expand since. We have experienced tremendous growth and have nine
owners and eight clinics at this time.
We currently have a Rehabilitation & Performance Institute, PSC and the University of Evansville
Orthopaedic Residency Program. We are excited about being able to provide this transition between
DPT education and becoming a full?time clinical specialist in the realm of orthopaedics, and we currently
accept 1-2 residents per year.
