Company Overview
River Pediatric Therapies is a private clinic in the Pittsburgh area that provides outstanding therapy to children of all ages. We specialize in children birth to 21 years of age in all areas of development including speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, developmental therapy and tutoring. We have a flexible schedule which enables us to help as many children as possible. We have both day and evening hours to offer to our clients. Our office is open from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm Monday thru Thursday, and 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Fridays. The company is staffed with certified Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists. Each of our staff members attends monthly trainings to update themselves on advances in the speech, occupational, physical and developmental fields of study.
River Pediatric Therapies has been in business since 2000. Each year we have met and surpassed our goal of helping children achieve what so many thought they never would. Throughout the years we have served children in many different locations across the Pittsburgh region. River also provides speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and mental health services to various school districts as well as cyber schools in the Allegheny County area.

A note from the Director, Cherie River MS, CCC-SLP
My nephew, Harrison, was born with Down Syndrome 19 years ago, and when I observed his speech therapy session I decided to become a Speech Language Pathologist. I started my private practice over 10 years ago on my own working out of my home. Through the years we have been very fortunate to have gained a great reputation in our community. Currently we have over 30 employees serving Allegheny, Butler, and Beaver counties. We thank God for the blessing of serving hundreds of precious children each week!
