Rx Physical Therapy is a privately owned outpatient practice serving Southwest Michigan, with locations in St. Joseph and Stevensville. We specialize in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, providing individualized, one-on-one care focused on patient outcomes and long-term performance.
Our model emphasizes clinical autonomy, quality over volume, and a collaborative environment where Physical Therapists are supported in delivering high-level, evidence-based care. With access to a fully equipped fitness facility, including strength training equipment and an outdoor turf field, our clinicians are able to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and return to activity.

Company History
Rx Physical Therapy was founded by Kensey C. Bermingham, PT, DPT, a licensed Physical Therapist based in Southwest Michigan. Dr. Bermingham graduated with honors in 2012 and brings diverse clinical experience in orthopedic and outpatient physical therapy.
With a vision to provide high-quality, individualized care, he established Rx Physical Therapy as an independent practice focused on patient-centered treatment and long-term outcomes. The practice operates outside of hospital systems and emphasizes collaboration with local healthcare providers while maintaining clinical autonomy.
Since its founding, Rx Physical Therapy has grown to serve the Southwest Michigan community, offering a more personalized and performance-focused approach to rehabilitation.
The practice continues to expand with a focus on delivering one-on-one care in a supportive, growth-oriented clinical environment.
