Our treatment philosophy at Spooner is a commitment that we make to each other, to our patients, and to our community to improve others’ lives through movement. Our team of movement specialists knows that each individual is unique, and requires a plan that is tailored to their needs. The foundation of our assessment is grounded in the principles of Applied Functional Science® (AFS), and we address injuries and dysfunction both locally and at the source of breakdown, using movement to help achieve success. Your therapy experience at Spooner will focus on individualized exercise prescription in the clinic and at home coupled with hands-on care. We fit every program to your individual needs. Company History
Since 1990, Spooner Physical Therapy has been promoting better health through movement in the Valley of the sun. Timothy A. Spooner, PT, FAFS, CEO opened the outpatient physical therapy practice in Scottsdale, Arizona, with the philosophy that every individual should be empowered with the knowledge and ability to achieve health through movement. Tim has deeply embedded the idea of clinical and conceptual motion into the vision and the culture of the organization, embracing motion as being healthy in all aspects. His influence and passion continue to inspire our team’s commitment to daily excellence.
Today, Spooner is still privately owned with clinics in both Arizona and Texas and each Spooner clinic is directed by a licensed physical therapist, physical therapy assistant or occupational therapist. As experts in musculoskeletal care, we are proud to offer many specialty services and programs that improve the health of our community. We value greatly our community relationships and the loyalty of our patients whom we have had the pleasure to serve. We look forward to helping you achieve now and in the future!
