Company Profile
Therapy Center East
Company Overview
Therapy Center East is a small, therapist-owned, orthopedic outpatient private practice. Our company was founded in 1994 and has been in our current location for 13 years. We treat a variety of orthopedic conditions, including spine and hand/upper extremity as well as lower extremity problems. The owner/senior therapist is also a CHT, and has lectured on hand therapy and TMJ therapy. The practice has a strong emphasis on professional development and ongoing continuing education that will enhance or expand our patient care. We work to be the best clinicians in our area for the conditions that we treat. Current staff have extensive experience and specialty certifications, and are willing to share our knowledge with other therapists. The office environment is friendly for staff and patients. As a smaller practice, we have moderate flexibility with the professional and personal needs of our staff and attempt to create a blend that works for staff and patients.
Company History
Therapy Center East was started in 1994 by several therapists to specialize in the treatment of TMJ patients. One partner retired and the current owner expanded the practice to include hand therapy and orthopedic physical therapy. The practice was relocated to the east Atlanta area suburbs in 1998, where it remains today. The business has gradually grown from a single therapist to 2.5 FTE therapists, plus front office staff. The referral base has grown from a handful of physicians to over 60, and we are the preferred therapists for a number of specialists who work 20-60 minutes from our office. We see a growing number of returning patients and acquaintances who prefer our practice skills and environment. We anticipate continued growth despite significant changes in the healthcare landscape.
