Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is recognized as one of the leading academic teaching hospitals in the nation. Our 885-bed, Level I Trauma Center provides practice opportunities not typically found at other institutions. This includes 38 Rehab beds, as well as a 12-bed brain injury unit. Our inpatient population includes spinal cord injury, stroke, burn and other musculoskeletal and neurologic patients. We are committed to providing quality care and a safe hospital environment.

Located in Winston-Salem, we are situated in the beautiful Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina, near the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, an hour from the city of Charlotte and approximately 4-5 hours from the beautiful beaches of North Carolina's Crystal Coast.
