We are currently seeking a New York State Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team in Astoria, Brooklyn, or Staten Island.

Position Overview
The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and administer medically prescribed physical therapy to help patients achieve optimal physical recovery and functional independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
• Develop and implement rehabilitation programs focused on restoring mobility, strength, and function
• Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery and improved quality of life
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise therapy, manual therapy, and functional training
• Monitor patient progress and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans
• Communicate patient progress and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

Job Title: Physical Therapist
Reports to: Clinical Director

• Ensure compliance with the New York State Physical Therapy Practice Act and clinical standards
• Foster a safe, supportive, and motivating environment for patients

Qualifications

• Active New York State Physical Therapist License
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of rehabilitation techniques
• Understanding of documentation requirements and clinical record keeping
• Knowledge of health promotion, pain management, and patient safety
• Ability to create a safe, effective treatment environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with an excellent bedside manner
• Ability to motivate patients and work collaboratively with a healthcare team
• Commitment to quality patient care and legal compliance
