Join a Collaborative, Child-Centered Preschool Team

The New Interdisciplinary School (NIS) is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our interdisciplinary preschool team. We are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care that supports each child’s growth, independence, and success.

Position Overview

Pay: $46.47 – $55.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | In-Person
Sign-On Bonus: Paid at 6 and 12 months of employment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services in accordance with each child’s IEP
• Conduct evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and reports
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, families, and administrators
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development
• Provide guidance and support to staff as needed
• Adhere to all school policies and safety procedures

Qualifications

• New York State Physical Therapy License (required)
• Experience in pediatric physical therapy preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Professional, compassionate approach when working with children and families
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
