PHYSICAL THERAPIST: ORTHOPEDICS * STRENGTH * MANUAL THERAPY
Connect & Beyond Physical Therapy
Portland, Oregon
Restore Movement. Build Strength. Thrive for Life.
At Connect & Beyond Physical Therapy, we believe physical therapy is more than recovery from pain or injury. We are growing intentionally and seeking two physical therapists who value strong clinical reasoning, meaningful patient relationships, and high-quality hands-on care integrated into long-term movement health.
This role may especially appeal to clinicians who enjoy combining orthopedic and post-operative physical therapy, skilled manual therapy, and a movement-based approach within a highly personalized, PT-owned practice environment.
We’re building something dynamic, thoughtful, and deeply relationship-centered — and we’re looking for the right clinicians to grow with us.
The Opportunity
This role blends clinical depth, strength-based care, and the opportunity to help build something meaningful within a rapidly growing practice. We are looking for someone who:
Brings strong orthopedic manual therapy and clinical reasoning skills
Believes strength training is central to long-term health
Appreciates integrating hands-on care with movement and exercise
Enjoys coaching patients toward long-term movement capacity
Is energized by helping active adults stay strong and engaged in life
Wants to help shape programs that support resilience, longevity, and lifelong fitness
What This Role May Include
Depending on your skill sets and interests, your work may involve:
- Orthopedic and post-operative care
- Strength-based rehabilitation and return-to-activity programming
- Coaching progressive strength training for patients
- Supporting or leading our Strength 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 programs
- Training in and implementation of the Onero Academy bone health program
Additional strengths that may align well with this role include:
- Experience or certification in Yoga or Pilates
- Strength and conditioning experience
- Group fitness or wellness programming
- Interest in longevity-focused healthcare and proactive wellness
We believe clinicians do their best work when they are trusted and supported, so this role is intentionally flexible, collaborative, and designed to evolve around the strengths of the right people.
Who You Might Be
You’re a great fit if you:
- Have strong orthopedic clinical skills and reasoning
- Enjoy integrating strength training into rehabilitation
- Value manual therapy as part of comprehensive patient care
- Care deeply about helping people build long-term movement capacity
- Value meaningful patient relationships and continuity of care
- Appreciate autonomy and thoughtful practice environments
- Are curious, growth-oriented, and excited to continue evolving as a clinician
We anticipate candidates for this role to have 5+ years of experience, though alignment with our philosophy matters more than a specific number.
