Description
Full-time Physical Therapist — Outpatient Orthopedics — Flint, Michigan
45-minute treatment blocks. Direct mentorship from a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist who owns the practice.
Horizon Physical Therapy is an independent, therapist-owned outpatient orthopedic clinic that has served Flint since 2012 and cared for more than 6,000 patients. We are hiring one full-time physical therapist. New graduates are welcome.
THE CLINICAL MODEL
Patients are scheduled in 45-minute blocks, which means you have time to evaluate properly, treat with your hands, educate, and actually progress a plan of care. Our therapists average approximately 1.25 completed visits per clinical hour — a pace built for quality and for a career that lasts. PTs and PTAs deliver care collaboratively, and documentation workflows are designed to be completed during scheduled hours rather than at your kitchen table.
MENTORSHIP AND GROWTH
Structured onboarding and ongoing case consultation with Dr. Jerome Adams, a board-certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist with nearly two decades of clinical experience. Support for developing manual therapy, MDT, spinal manipulation, and dry needling skills, backed by a $1,500 annual continuing education allowance. As Horizon grows there is a real path into senior clinical and leadership roles — we would rather promote the person we trained.
WHY FLINT
Horizon is a Black-owned, independent practice rooted in this community — from youth basketball and youth development to caring for the patients with the fewest good options. If you want your clinical work to matter beyond the treatment room, this is that job.
