Key Responsibilities
Design and execute comprehensive, evidence-based physical therapy programs for a diverse caseload of acute post-operative and non-operative orthopedic conditions (including total joint replacements, ACL reconstructions, rotator cuff repairs, and spine conditions).
Collaborate directly with attending orthopedic surgeons regarding patient progress, recovery timelines, and protocol adjustments.
Perform thorough initial evaluations, progress updates, and discharge assessments.
Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.
Provide clear patient education on home exercise programs, functional limitations, and long-term wellness
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
Licensure: Active (or eligible) Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida.
Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine setting preferred, but exceptional new graduates with strong orthopedic clinical rotations will be considered.
Certifications: CPR/BLS certification required. OCS (Orthopedic Clinical Specialist) or manual therapy certifications are a plus.
Strong communication skills and a desire to work closely within a physician-led team.
