We are currently looking for a second PT for our Centereach location where you will work along side Peter Smith, a physical therapist with an amazing reputation and even better results. Working along side an established PT will enable you to grow your skill set while having collaboration amongst not only a seasoned PT but world-class Chiropractors, APPs, Physicians, and other healthcare professionals. What You'll Do
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve function and reduce pain.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and home exercise programs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with professional standards and regulations.
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment that motivates patients throughout their recovery journey.
What We're Looking For
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
- Current NYS Physical Therapist license.
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Experience in orthopedics, spine care, pain management, or rehabilitation is preferred but not required.
