For over 30 years, Orthopedic & Sports Therapy has proudly served the Kenner and Metairie communities with compassion and clinical excellence. We are seeking a dedicated, driven, and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team – new grads welcome! This is a great opportunity to grow professionally, build strong patient relationships, and make a meaningful impact every day.
Our Kenner facility features a 5,000+ sq. ft. treatment and gym area equipped with advanced Cybex isotonic and isokinetic equipment, as well as comprehensive cardio equipment for upper and lower extremity conditioning. You will have the opportunity to treat both extremity and spinal diagnoses while developing individualized plans of care that help patients return to a healthy, active lifestyle.

Requirements
Physical Therapist – Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
Current and unrestricted state Physical Therapist license.
Ability to pass required background checks and comply with all healthcare regulations.
Experience:
Previous clinical experience preferred; new graduates with completed clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, treatment techniques, and rehabilitation practices.
Ability to evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and clinical decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and accurate documentation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and assist patients throughout the workday.
Ability to safely lift, transfer, and support patients as required.
Capability to perform repetitive physical tasks while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
