We are a small outpatient Physical Therapy practice treating primarily orthopedic injuries currently seeking a PTA to work Part-time/PRN. We see a variety of conditions and diagnoses, post-surgical rehab, very active seniors, and general deconditioning. You will have an opportunity to use your manual skills, work extensively with exercise, gait and balance activities. We also specialize in Pilates for Rehabilitation and use Pilates as a wellness component after our patients complete their therapy. We treat an average of 20-25 patients per day collectively with a staff of 3-4. We deliver one-on one patient care and offer a fun, family atmosphere where we take pride in our exceptional patient care and results oriented reputation. Requirements
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Clinical Care
Implement the PTestablished plan of care using evidencebased therapeutic exercise, manual techniques, neuromuscular reeducation, gait training, and functional activities.
Support patients through postoperative and nonoperative orthopedic rehabilitation, following Pyramid PT & Pilates protocols and best practices.
Monitor patient response to treatment, adjust interventions within scope, and communicate changes promptly to the supervising PT.
Provide clear, supportive patient education on home exercise programs, movement strategies, and longterm selfmanagement.
Promote a safe, encouraging environment that reflects Pyramid’s commitment to compassionate, highquality care.
Documentation & Compliance
Complete accurate, timely, Medicarecompliant documentation for each visit.
Record objective measures, skilled interventions, and patient progress in a clear, professional manner.
Ensure documentation supports medical necessity and aligns with clinic standards.
Follow all state practice act requirements, supervision guidelines, and HIPAA regulations.
Communication & Collaboration
Maintain open, consistent communication with supervising PTs regarding patient progress, barriers, and clinical concerns.
Collaborate with the Pyramid team—including PTs, front office staff, and leadership—to support smooth clinic flow and exceptional patient experience.
Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, families, and referring providers.
Operational Support
Prepare and maintain clean, organized treatment spaces and equipment.
Assist with supply management and general clinic upkeep.
Support scheduling flow and administrative needs as appropriate to ensure efficient operations.
Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and qualityimprovement initiatives.
Professional Conduct & Development
Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a positive, teamoriented attitude.
Maintain current PTA licensure, CPR certification, and continuing education requirements.

Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
Current PTA license in the state of Texas.
CPR/BLS certification.
Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred; new graduates with strong interest in orthopedics are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining appropriate supervision and collaboration.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and assist with patient mobility throughout the workday.
Ability to demonstrate therapeutic exercises and maintain safe body mechanics.
