About Virdio Health
Virdio Health is an AI-powered virtual musculoskeletal (MSK) recovery platform. Myra, our AI care companion, delivers personalized, guideline-informed MSK care under protocols established by our Medical Advisory Board, with clinical oversight from licensed physical therapists. We help patients recover from joint, back, and muscle conditions through a care model that pairs autonomous AI-delivered care with licensed clinical supervision. Virdio Health is a participant in the CMS ACCESS Model chronic musculoskeletal track, bringing outcomes-based, technology-supported MSK care to Medicare beneficiaries alongside our broader patient population.
Position Overview
We're seeking licensed physical therapists to join our contractor network providing clinical oversight for virtual MSK care delivered to patients nationally. In this role, you will review system-generated patient reports and panel summaries. When the system flags a case for your attention, you will make a single determination: the beneficiary continues in the program or is referred to see a provider. You will exercise independent clinical judgement on these flagged cases.
This is a flexible, remote contractor opportunity ideal for PTs looking to expand their practice into telehealth and/or supplement clinic-based work on their own schedule.
Requirements
Responsibilities
Review and approve a monthly online panel report, with exceptions highlighted and drill-down detail available
For flagged cases, determine whether the beneficiary continues in the program or is referred to a provider
Add a brief note on exception cases when warranted; all other documentation is system-generated
Maintain active, unrestricted PT licensure and compliance with all applicable state and PT Compact regulations
Requirements
Must have active Medicare billing privileges.
Current, unrestricted license to practice as a physical therapist in at least one of the following: District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Delaware
We plan to expand quickly, therefore even if you do not have a license for any of those states, please reach out anyway
PT Compact privilege (or eligibility to obtain one) strongly preferred to support multi-state coverage. Virdio Health will fund the costs of obtaining PT Compact privileges for additional states.
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent PT degree from an accredited program
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience treating orthopedic/musculoskeletal conditions
Current professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with Medicare patient populations a plus
What We Offer
Flexible, remote contractor schedule — work on your own time. Note: This is not a hands-on treatment role. You will not be seeing patients. Your role is reviewing system-generated reports and making keep-or-refer determinations on flagged cases.
High compensation paid on an hourly basis
Multi-state reach through PT Compact, expanding your practice beyond a single jurisdiction
Opportunity to be part of a growing digital health platform participating in a landmark CMS value-based care model
A path to permanent employment with a fast-growing technology company with the mission of bringing affordable musculoskeletal care to those who don’t have access
